Manisan: Glimpse to Indonesia’s Culinary

Manisan (or translated to English as sweets), was opened some couple years ago, added to the long list of Ubud fine dining locale. Surrounded by the green rice fields, Manisan offers authentic Indonesia dining experience. Enriching Indonesia’s culinary journey, the restaurant brought forth traditional dishes and tastes in international palates to food lovers visiting Ubud.

On its inauguration, the restaurant announce proudly their collaboration with one of Indonesia’s culinary masters, William Wongso. His tens of years and expertise in Indonesia cuisines and their histories gave Manisan the launching pod needed to introduce the rich flavors of the archipelago. Their opening night set came from the west border of the country Sumatra to the daring suckling pig of Bali.

Now solely managed by the management of Alaya Hotels and Resorts, Manisan keeps its root on Indonesia flavors to their core and strongly introducing new taste to the visitors by changing their menus every 6 months.
